Salad is any of a wide variety of dishes including: green salads; vegetable salads; salads of pasta, legumes, or grains; mixed salads incorporating meat, poultry, or seafood; and fruit salads. They include a mixture of cold or hot foods, often including raw vegetables and/or fruits. Green salads include leaf lettuce and vegetables with a dressing. Other salads are based on pasta, noodles, jelly, or even Cool Whip. |
Most salads are traditionally served cold, although some, such as German potato salad, are served hot.
The different varieties of salads available are:
Frizze Salad:With Julienne carrots, cabbage, spinach and kale tossed with ripened grape tomatoes, green pepper and mushrooms in a ginger balsamic vinaigrette. $5.95
Spinach Salad:With pineapples, orange, sun-dried cranberries, cashews and glazed walnuts tossed in a sweet-tangy mango dressing. $5.95
Kale Cucumber Salad: With fresh kale, fresh cucumbers, sun-dried tomatoes, chopped red onions, chick peas, chunks of papaya and fresh cilantro tossed with chaat masala (tangy spices) in a cucumber wasabi dressing topped with crumbled paneer. $6.95
Chicken Kabob Salad: Freshly grilled marinated chicken tenders tossed with pineapples, orange, and sweet & tangy mango dressing garnished with sun-dried cranberries and glazed walnuts. $8.95
